G21 Vs G21sf - Is there a very important difference as the title asks? FWIW, I have hands that fit and shoot a G22 and a Beretta 92 (also in DA) comfortably but not terribly large.

I'm probably buying used and I can find a G21 for a little less than SF. Without the luxury of easily trying both on for size…

G21 Vs G21sf

Front to back grip length of SF is 2mm shorter than non-SF. Because the trigger mechanisms are not compatible... the Gen3 G21SF uses the same TMH as the Gen4 G21.

Speaking of which, have you considered the Gen4 G21 instead? FWIW, all generations of Glock 45ACP pistols for over 25 years have used the same trigger with a trigger bar...with a "wicked" bump. The TMH with the Gen3 will not avoid the bump.

I have medium sized hands and always wanted a G21 but the Reg 21 felt too big for my comfort. I have RTF2 G21 sf and it makes me comfortable. The 'hump' is less in sfs.

All Gen 4s have some sf grip, which is why they all come with back straps.

G21 Vs. G21 Sf

The difference was enough for me to get rid of my G21, keeping my G21sf. I got one when the G41 came out and got rid of my G21sf. I prefer the gen4 larger frame than the gen3. I would like to see the gen4 G21.

My hands are big I have a G221 that feels weird in my hand but shoots better than any semi auto pistol I've ever owned. I know this doesn't help much but you have to shoot them, don't just go by comfort or feel.

G21 Vs G21sf

The measured difference is small, the perceived difference, in my opinion, is quite large. Big enough that they gave up on making a non-SF model.

The 21SF is the only Glock I like how it fits in my hand. Even with the Talon Grip Wrap it's significantly better than any other model.

I've carried a Glock 21SF Gen 3 for years and it fits my hand well, just not for big hands like yours. I tried the G-21 before buying the G-21SF and it was too big for my hand. For the G-21 I still haven't caught up with the G-4 and 5. I just bought a G-19 Gen 4 and had to grind the upper grip near the trigger guard to fit my hand better. Okay now but I'll close a bit more. (didn't grind until this photo was taken)

I believe the Gen4 has the same grip size as the 21SF without the back strap. The addition of a shorter back strap makes the shape similar to the Gen3.

Not enough to convince me to buy another. I had a Zen. 3 21 for several years and since it was my only pistol at the time, I CCed it daily. It was an impulse buy. It has to be .45acp and it has to be GLOCK. Until they make a frame like the XD .45 I would consider one.

My First Handgun. Glock 21 Gen4. Very Satisfied. (x Post From R/guns)

I have big hands and my G21 feels like I'm holding a 2x4. I shoot it pretty well, so it's never been a problem, but it's still huge compared to the rest of my guns.

As already mentioned above, the Gen 4 frame (minus the backstrap) is the same as the SF frame (except for the grip texture if you're sensitive to that). The G30SF fits my hand well.

G21 Vs G21sf

When I bought a new G20C and bought a G20SF I had enough of a difference that I sold the 20C 2 weeks after buying it so I could get a new G20SF.

I bought an aftermarket barrel for the G20 and compared it to the offset barrel and didn't think the porting made much of a difference but the C model especially now that they are discontinued but I would like to sell it to get it. SF

Hi OP, I have a g21 and a g21sf, both gens, for this. 3. I don't notice much difference between the two frames while shooting. I have large hands and both frames are equally comfortable. I believe the non SF frame is no longer produced.
